Ladies and gentlemen will you please stand,

With every unhealed scar and bruise on my back,

I take this unfaithful man to be a sinner.

Your wishes were my endless commands,

Now I stand across, thinking what did I lack,

When did you stop being my lover.

You said I am the meaning between all your lines,

Then tell me when did you decide to go out of sight.

I can cry and scream, never doubt that I can fight,

But your sin can't be undone, and cannot be made right.

The holy cross was a witness when I prayed and I begged, "Give me chastity and continence..."

But you shred that tapestry of love that I kept,

And smirked saying, "just not yet"
