Get to Know Me!

October 2023. Humid, as always in Mumbai. I ambitiously declared that my first crochet project would be a Christmas sweater. I marched to a tucked-away store in a busy market, got my yarn, and sat down to begin. Much to my dismay I couldn’t even crochet a square. To top it off, the yarn wasn’t cardigan-friendly.

But Bollywood raised me. We don’t do sad endings.

I learned. I practiced. I figured it out. Summer 2024, I tried again. 60 colourful squares, a measurement tape wrapped around me, stitching help from my mom… and finally, it happened. I made the cardigan.

Some things you should know about me

I first held a mic at age 3. Grandma said I nailed it. Either she was right or just biased.

I’m a pop culture enthusiast who hides Easter eggs like Taylor Swift and remembers everything like a true Scorpio.

Raised in a family of teachers, I was bound to be a nerd. And at 21, I left home for the first time. Mumbai to NYC. Scared? Totally. But I did it scared.
